3 Step Remodeling Process

To make sure your full satisfaction, we follow an established 3-step method for all home remodeling projects:


Step 1 – Estimate & Consultation

Initial Appointment

The Project Consultant – your contact through job end – and you meet to discuss agenda and your needs, and provide all the ways Z Remodeling can help you with your current project.. We’ll strive to completely understand your requirements and answer all your questions.


Preliminary Budget

After meeting with one of our estimators, the Project Consultant develops a preliminary price range on your project and examines it along with you to make sure we are meeting with your expectations.


Estimate Presentation

The Project Advisor provides you with estimate and our initial project features. We may also provide options for achieving your needs and adding value to your home.


Step 2 – Project Design and Contract

Preliminary Agreement and Final Design

Next, you’ll receive a written description of the project. We will demand a-5% retainer and plan your project after you accept. Your Project Consultant will direct you towards the right building product selections and will present the ultimate design.


The Project Contract

The Project Advisor will give you a detailed contract, together with any applicable drawings or attachments. When you agree the contract, one of the Z Remodeling Teams will be assigned to your project.

Step 3 – Project Construction & End


Pre Construction Meeting

You meet up with the Project Consultant and the Lead (or Project Manager), who’s in charge of the construction process. The Project Contract is read through and all the site requirements and drawings are discussed. You’ll also be given a “Black Book” with important telephone numbers, instructions for How to get hold of us during your project


Project Construction

The Lead Carpenter is your day-to-day contact during the remodeling process.  The Project Advisor and you will meet weekly to examine progress, solution design questions and, if required, prepare change orders.


Final Walk-Thru

Your desire is truth! You walk through the finished project and ensure your complete satisfaction.
